Arrival
Arriving at Haneda in dusk
Arriving at Haneda in dusk
Continuing down the arrivals hall
Past customs, travel info resides
An empty-esuqe train, shadows for privacy
Figuring out transit still
Vending machine ,
Finally a guide for our lost party
Still entranced by new surroundings
Nah but really cool to see popular manga junk just in the convenience store
I probably should've tried it, but hey there's always next time
Who woulda thought that people were telling the truth that convenience stores in Japan were good?
Was shocked to see that game advertized anywhere, especially here
I really like this shot, or maybe just the subject, but "decay asthetic"? fans are eating
Cozy interior, probaly work of the furniture colors and lighting
I really did try a lot of new foods here, but that thing on the right tasted so nasty, deceptively not beef, it's cold also like it looks like it wouldn't be am I nuts? Fries were okay.
I'm a shrimple guy. I like rice. I like shrimp.
Yeah it was fast man we get it stop repeating yourself
haha toilet ,
A lot of these POS systems are what I ordered off of personally, very greatful that they have english, Yokosuka likely needs to provide for a lot of english speaking folks so the efforts are appreciated
Every brand has a mascot here. and good i like them they're cute
Pretty colors in the night sky
It was my first day vending machine designs were still new and cool to me okay
Personally had never seen a system like this, apparently becoming more common in the US, but super facinating to watch what is essentially a car vending machine
I prefer the burbs to the city anyday, but the line is more blurred in this area, not opposed though, the homes around here look pleasant
Actually extremely common to see in a grocery store, but not in my state
Many cute oddiites akin to this one lined the 100 yen isle, tchotchke in design, no harm in that
Nothing even particularly odd about this, snapped a photo for a Disney lovin friend, but the mouse's reach knows no bounds
Self-explanitory, you know a Pringle, but a Chip Star? A Calbee? This was my intro to both
Vegetable juice in it's natural habitat
Starts off with the flavors and brands you know, but keeps expanding, got some interesting ones that I didn't get to try out
Grocery stores of foreign countries interest me, gives me a peek into the everyday average life of the folks living there. As I'm writing this I've got to experience similar things for Canada, Ireland, and the Virgin Islands. So cool to see brands or items you've never thought of, or familar but different versions of items you know
Never got to try MOS on this trip, and still uncertain what this product entailed exactly
Probably like complete overkill by today's standards, but it's cool in the same way as seeing like an original Mac is
I stayed pretty unfamiliar with this temple on purpose, I didn't want to disrespect or disturb anything so I kept my distance. Serene from that distance though
I suppose you'll have to wait a couple videos to hear about it
Still a very serene and peaceful view despite the smokestack
The little lighted path to the side is beautiful walk in the day, and calming at night
I'll photograph this place from afar much more, at this time I was still just hoping for a good solid shot, I didn't know how much of it I'd be seeing in my future
Our strange housing for majority of the trip, US furnished and designed
More to see upon future episode releases
